2face Idibia's humilty

Despite his overwhelming success as an artiste and acquired wealth, 2face Idibia's humilty is second to none.
As a good looking man, married to a star actress, Annie Macaulay, with 6 kids to his credits, female fans still won't let Tuface be.
"It’s now a case of ‘Hello, thank you very much’, I try to make them know that what they are looking for isn’t possible. I just say ‘Let me introduce you to one of my single friends", he explains how he handles female fans.
Tubaba as he is often referred to had lived a rough life style and has two baby mamas, Sunmbo Ajaba, who has 2 kids for him and Pero Adeniyi, who also has 3 children for the song star before he finally walked down the aisle with his long time ex and baby mama too, Annie.
When Annie was asked why she accepted his marriage proposal in 2012 despite his involvement with other women, Annie had said “I said yes to his proposal because I love him. Won’t you say yes to someone you love, regardless of all.
I didn’t see the proposal coming though because that period, we were not really together, we were just being good parents to my daughter…but when he proposed, I said yes because I want to be with him regardless and moreover he is not a bad person.”
However, when the Benue state born star was asked why he doesn't show off his wealth like the other celebs on social media, he said,
"For me it’s a matter of choice. It’s a matter of what makes you happy. Some people have it and they don’t care to show it and some just do it so that people will think they have it. Some people do it so that armed robbers will come and visit them."
On the secret of his staying power, he said 'that question is difficult to answer, I think it’s people that will answer that aspect for me. But for me, I think it’s the talent , the grace of God and then the love of my fans."

The death of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau

Posted by OKOYE EJIKE

The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has been confirmed dead by the Nigerian military after he was reportedly killed in Konduga, Borno state.
However, the news of his supposed death has been met with skepticism from some quarters especially since this is the second time that reports of his demise have arisen.
It is the hope of many that Shekau’s death would mean the end of Boko haram but here are 5 reasons why that might not necessarily be so:
"Shekau" is now a brand name

After Abubakar Shekau's alleged death last year, it is believed that another man took his place and assumed the same name. According to Reuters, Nigerian Defence Spokesperson, Major-General Chris Olukolade said:

"The name Shekau has become a brand name for the terrorists' leader,"
The first “Shekau” was subdued and had a slimmer face than the second one who was outspoken and laughed like a maniac. Boko Haram is bigger than one man. According to Ben Payton, senior Africa analyst at UK-based risk consultancy Maplecroft:

"Even if Shekau has been killed ... Boko Haram is much bigger than one individual. It has multiple units that operate with a fair degree of autonomy,"
This position is emphasized by the fact that the death of the first “Shekau” didn’t stop the sect.

Wealthy Sponsors
Boko Haram members possess sophisticated weapons and indications show that the sect is heavily funded after being declared the 7th richest terrorist group in the world.
As long as the money doesn’t stop flowing, the death of Abubakar Shekau is not likely to stop the activities of the sect.

Different factions
There have been widespread beliefs that Boko Haram has split into different factions. If this is the case, then the death of one factional leader will not slow down the others.
According to one report, many experts think that the terrorist group is split off into as many as six separate factions.

The violence hasn’t stopped
Despite the news that Shekau has been killed, the violence being unleashed by Boko Haram in the north hasn’t stopped.

Residents of the troubled areas and military personnel alike have expressed fears that the last hasn’t been heard of Boko Haram.

A retired military officer told the Sun Newspaper:

It is not yet Uhuru,” “We may be jubilating now that the Boko Haram crisis is going but from their antecedents, they may prove to be deadlier in the next phase of their terror campaigns except our military and all Nigerians unite to fight this battle to the end,”

Rev. Father Gideon Osagie of the Directorate of Social Communication of the Catholic Church, Maiduguri Diocese, also said:

“I’m not a pessimist but I can say from past activities of Boko Haram, that there is yet no light in the dark tunnel. I suspect there may even be more Shekaus among the Boko Haram commanders.

The cleric also added that the last time it was alleged that Shekau had been killed, the sect responded with deadlier attacks.

Deepika Padukone: Bollywood star in titillation row with Times of India

One of India’s best-known actors has been accused of hypocrisy after she criticised the country’s best-selling English-language newspaper for drawing attention to her cleavage.
The Times of India tweeted a link to a video clip showing the chest and neck of Deepika Padukone, 28, shot from a high angle apparently by a press cameraman, to the 75,000 followers of its entertainment account. The tweet read: “OMG! Deepika Padukone’s cleavage show”. The video, reported to be a year old, was also posted on the newspaper’s entertainment site.
Padukone responded by tweeting to her own 7.5m followers: “YES! I am a woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??”
The newspaper and Padukone have since traded accusations on social media, on television and in print. “I felt violated as a woman,” the former model told Bharka Dutt, one of India’s few leading female journalists on television.
The dispute took another turn on Monday when the Times of India published a response to a statement posted by Padukone on her Facebook page at the weekend arguing that the media should distinguish between her “reel” – cinematic – and “real” personalities.
“Deepika, we accept your reel vs real argument, but what about all the times, and there have been many, when you have flaunted your body off screen – while dancing on stage, posing for magazine covers, or doing photo ops at movie promotional functions? What ‘role’ do you play there? So why the hypocrisy?” senior editor Priya Gupta said in the article. The newspaper also accused the actor of seeking to publicise her latest film.
Other Bollywood stars, male and female, have rushed to Padukone’s defence. “Well done take a stand for all of us,” said Priyanka Chopra, another Bollywood A-lister, after Padukone first hit back at the newspaper.
Shah Rukh Khan, who has played male leads in several recent films starring Padukone, said he and others did not “have the guts to do what she has done”.
The row has focused attention on ethics in India’s chaotic and highly competitive media. “There are pictures like this every day, particularly of foreign women in the press. The younger generation is changing but there are still very many in the Indian middle class who have traditional views,” said Ranjana Kumari, director of the Centre for Social Research in Delhi.
A series of high-profile incidents in India have raised deep concerns about violence against women in India. The representation of women in Bollywood films, particularly storylines featuring persistent lovers pursuing unwanted advances, has been cited as a contributory factor.
Senior politicians, police officials and others have frequently blamed rapes and other assaults on women’s dress and behaviour. Recently Narendra Modi, the newly elected prime minister, said the blame should lie with the young men responsible for violence and harassment, not their victims.
“I want to ask parents: when your daughter turns 10 or 12 years old, you ask ‘where are you going? When will you return?’ [But] do the parents dare to ask their sons ‘where are you going? Who are your friends?’ After all, the rapist is also someone’s son,” Modi said.
Padukone has said her stance is “not about being a celebrity”. She told the news channel NDTV: “I am standing up for all the women and all the girls … in India and around the world.”
